Registers Homemaker Companion Agencies (non-medical companion/homemaker services, including personal hygiene assistance per DCP description). Registrations expire annually on October 31.
Connecticut Department of Public Health
Facility Licensing and Investigations Section
Licenses Home Health Care agencies, Homemaker-Home Health Aide agencies, Hospice, and Temporary Nursing Service Agencies (credentials appear in the shared CT eLicense system).
Connecticut Department of Social Services
Operates the Home Care Provider Registry (worker-level data entered by homemaker-companion agencies since Oct 1, 2025, per secondary sources). Not verified on an official page during this research.
Home care organizations holding at least one active license of a type the state's own rules define as relevant. Hospice-only organizations are excluded.
