New home care agencies and licensing changes, computed from official state licensing records. Every figure is dated and sourced, and only Live jurisdictions count toward totals. Methodology
Coverage program
Nationwide source mapping underway.
Every state's licensing authority and official records are mapped before a connector is built. First markets in final verification: Texas.
Source: HomeCareIntent coverage registry, as of Oct 5, 2026. Market figures publish per state once it passes every Live check; no state is counted before then.
Coverage explorer
Every jurisdiction with its coverage status, licensing authority and official source. Select a state for cadence, last check and available signals.
51 jurisdictions: 50 states and the District of Columbia. Figures appear only for Live and Beta jurisdictions.
Connectors in development
A connector is registered for each of these states. Where a test ingestion of the official source has succeeded, output is in manual review. No figures are published until every Live check passes, and no release date is promised.
Home care organizations holding at least one active license of a type the state's own rules define as relevant. Hospice-only organizations are excluded.
New agencies (30 and 90 days)
Organizations first licensed, or first detected, inside the trailing window. Shown only after HomeCareIntent has observed the whole window.
Licensing events (30 days)
New licenses and locations, closures, status, administrator, licensee and address changes. Dated by the source where it publishes a date.
New agencies per month
A 12-month series. Months before HomeCareIntent's history for a state begins are marked “Not tracked,” never drawn as zero.
Top markets
Cities ranked by tracked organizations. Cities with fewer than three are not ranked.
About these figures
What is measured
Home care organizations holding an active license of a type each state's own rules define as relevant, and changes to those licenses (new agencies, new licenses, new locations, closures, status, administrator, licensee and address changes).
Geography
United States, by state. No jurisdiction is Live yet.
Time period
Counts as of each state's last update. “New” means first licensed or first detected inside the stated window (30 or 90 days).
Freshness
Each state's source publication cadence and HomeCareIntent's check frequency are stated on its state page. Figures reflect the latest successful check, not the moment a change happened.
Each state publishes on its own schedule, from daily to monthly or unstated. HomeCareIntent checks each source on a fixed schedule and states both on every state page. A change appears here after the source publishes it and our next successful check.
